EIKON: Icons of the Orthodox Christian World
Wednesday 22nd October, 2014 at 5.30pm, Art Gallery of Ballarat, 40 Lydiard St North, Ballarat.
Free Twilight Talk relating to the exhibition EIKON: Icons of the Orthodox Christian World. The speaker will be the Director Gordon Morrison, who has curated the exhibition, and will provide insights into origins and function of the icon within the Orthodox church over the centuries.
There will be free and wine and cheese, as well as an opportunity for a limited visit to the exhibition.
